Bookings:

Bookings need to be made at least 12 hours in advance. Changes of confirmed and unconfirmed reservations made at least 2 days prior to travel can be made at no additional cost.

Prices:

Please note: prices quoted are subject to change and are only guaranteed once paid in full.  Price changes may occur because of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the product or service.  Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, and taxes.

Please note: In the event that the bus and driver are left waiting for a length of time longer than 15mins, a surcharge may be charged per hour or part thereof as this can have a knock-on effect for other guests. If your flight is delayed, we will still have someone there when you land as flight delays are out of your control.

Payment and deposits:

Payment can be made via bank transfer or in cash.  If payment is made via bank transfer please note that all transfer fees are for your account, as the amount invoiced to you is the full amount required for payment. In the case of a bank transfer, please send proof of payment as confirmation for your booking. Bank details are provided on your invoice

Airport transfers: Payment is due in full before the date of travel unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangement.

Long Distance/Multi-day Transfers: You will be required to pay a minimum of 20% deposit of the invoice value, and this is non-refundable for changes of mind or cancellations by you.

Full payment is required 30 days before travel.

Cancellation Policy:

Requests to cancel your booking must be sent to us in writing and will not take effect until received. The cancellation can be made by you using our email contacts or by telephone in which case you will receive a written acknowledgement.

Airport transfers: No refunds will be given for cancellations made on the day of travel – No shows will be charged in full.

Long Distance/Multi-Day Transfers: Cancellation penalty is a minimum of 20% of the total invoiced amount prior to 30 days before travel.

Long-distance or multi-day bookings cancelled within 30 days will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.

Please Note: Cancellations made on the day of travel will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Liability:

To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control or any other event which is beyond our control and which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.  Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded and where liability may be lawfully limited, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements.

Important Additional Information:

Please liaise with your travel consultant regarding any special requirements you may have for your travel arrangements such as packed lunches.

Guests need to be at the noted pick-up point at the stipulated time.

Please make prior notifications if you have extra luggage.

Drivers are not permitted to travel extra distances, change routes or collect unauthorised passengers without permission from management. If the request is approved, this may come at an additional charge.

Strictly no smoking is permitted on the bus.

Any damage or destruction intentionally made to the vehicle will be charged directly to the client. In the event that the bus interior needs to be cleaned professionally due to client misuse, this will be charged to the client account by the discretion of Shumba management.
